It is so fun to be able to go back to Utah and shoot every once and awhile. It is such a beautiful place, and, without fail, my clients are adorable. We shot Taylor and Larissa engagement session at Wheeler Farm, just outside of Salt Lake. I wish we had more places like this in California!

It was one of those days that is was sunny and hot inland and cloudy and cold on the coast, so weird! But Brett and Megan rocked the marine layer. Such a beautiful couple. I can't wait for their wedding in November!

Avril and Steven: Engaged! {Joshua Tree Engagement Session}

What an adventure this was! So much fun! Avril and Steven live in Canada, but were in Palm Springs for the weekend and so we decided to do their engagement session. Joshua Tree National Park sounded like a fun idea, definitely not a backdrop they would find in Canada. It was so amazing!

It was worth the wait! If you can believe it, Brian and Lindsay's engagement session was rained out THREE times!!! Crazy California weather! I was so happy to get a beautiful, dry day...finally!

Seriously, I get so lucky! My clients are SO cute and fun. Brian and Lindsay hiked all over Bonelli Park with me. We had such a blast and I'm so happy with the result.

Adam and Samantha: Married! {Cherry Valley Wedding Photographer}

Adam and Samantha were married at the Edward-Dean Museum in Cherry Valley. What a hidden gem this venue was! So beautiful! Adam and Samantha had an intimate ceremony and reception, but let me tell you, there was so much love and fun in that group! I had such a blast being a part of their day! These two are probably the most adventurous couple I have ever met! They have traveled all over the world together. In fact, right now, they are on their honeymoon in PARIS! Yes, I am a little jealous. They are such an amazing couple! Check out some of my favorites from their wedding day:

Leasure Family! {San Diego Photographer}

I wish every shoot could be a fun as this one!!! It was extra fun for me because this is my family! My cute cousins! They only live 2 hours away in San Diego, but we hardly ever get to see each other. So it was kind of like a shoot and reunion all rolled into one. I loved it!!! My parents, husband and son came, which I can never do on a normal shoot. My baby got to meet and play with his adorable cousins that he has never met. It was a perfect evening. We did the session at this amazing park in Poway (Old Poway Park). I wish this wasn't so far away, it is perfect for photography. I'm so happy with how these came out, check out a few of my very favorites:

I am so happy for this adorable couple!!! After be sunny and 80 degrees for the whole week, the weather called for the worst storm of the year the weekend of their wedding. I'll be honest, I was a little bit nervous for them. But when I got to the San Diego temple, the SUN was out!! It did cloud up a bit for their couple pictures, but not a drop of rain. Their wedding reception was the next day and all day on Saturday it POURED rain, but right at 5pm when we were scheduled to start pictures, it stopped completely wand we even saw a little bit of sun. The heavens were definitely shining down on this couple. Here are some of my favorites from their 2 day wedding extravaganza :)

About 2 years ago, my husband and I moved back to the city that I grew up in after being away for over 10 years. One of the best things about this is that I get to see people that I have known, some since elementary school, now that they have grown up and have become mommies and daddies. So much fun! Oh beautiful, Peyton. Isn't she precious? There is something so amazing about a newborn. I always forget how small they are and how they are only this small for such a short amount of time. I love capturing this "small-ness".

I love maternity sessions. I think it's because it reminds me of when I was pregnant, it is such a magical time. Pregnant women are so beautiful! And Abbie is no exception. How lucky is their baby girl to come into this family. Abbie and Brady are adorable!
