I wish every shoot could be a fun as this one!!!  It was extra fun for me because this is my family!  My cute cousins!  They only live 2 hours away in San Diego, but we hardly ever get to see each other.  So it was kind of like a shoot and reunion all rolled into one.  I loved it!!!  My parents, husband and son came, which I can never do on a normal shoot.  My baby got to meet and play with his adorable cousins that he has never met.  It was a perfect evening.  We did the session at this amazing park in Poway (Old Poway Park).  I wish this wasn't so far away, it is perfect for photography.  I'm so happy with how these came out, check out a few of my very favorites:


 

My baby boy turned one on October 12th!  I cannot believe it!  This has been the best year of my life.  Busy, crazy, yes!  Balancing being a full time mom and a full time business owner has been so insane, but so worth it.  I am a mommy first, it is the best job in the whole world.  Can you blame me?  Have you seen that sweet little face?  It is the most precious face ever!

On October 21st we had a big birthday party for Leo, lovingly referred to in my family as the Extravaganza :)  It was such a blast!  Family and friends came from near and far.  It was a very special day for my little family.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!  That is all I have to say!  Tara out did herself styling this shoot.  She told me she wanted to do something fun, but this was more than I could have even imagined.  Amazing!  Tara is a photographer too, so it is always so intimidating to photograph a photographer.  But I am SO excited with how these came out!  I can't wait for their wedding next month!

I am going to be out of town July 23rd - August 1st, friends.  Going to Utah for some shoots and to see my fam.  I'll have limited internet and phone access but I will get back to everyone ASAP.  Have a great week and enjoy this SWEET engagement session!

I can't believe my little Leo is SEVEN months old!  He is my little man.  I can't get enough of him.  Can you blame me.  He is so precious!  I thought I would share these pictures that we took of him the other day.  The ones of Leo and I, my husband, Carlos took (and then I edited them).  Who also has his own photography business.  Check out his website HERE.  He is so awesome.

I love this sequence!  His goofy grin in the first one, it kills me.  Pretty sure he was mid-blink, but it still cracks me up.

I'm super lucky to have a husband that is so hands-on, loving and supportive.  I love to watch them together.  Even though Leo is a total momma's boy, I know someday really soon his daddy will be his hero.
